FAQ
We train pilots of civil aviation on the aircraft Robinson R44 and R66.
The Robinson helicopter is ideal for pilot training. This type of aircraft has a comfortable cockpit, dual control, modern radio and flight navigation equipment.
First, you will begin to study the theoretical part of flight training - basic aviation disciplines. After that you will start your flight training. It is 43 flight hours.
Classes at the school are held both individually and in a group. In addition, you will be given textbooks for self-study.
It is possible, provided that the pilot's certificate indicates the level of knowledge of the English language on the ICAO scale not lower than level 4 (level 4 - for 3 years, level 5 - for 4 years, level 6 - indefinitely).
At our Aviation Training Center, you can take an exam to determine your level of English proficiency on the ICAO scale. To do this, you need to contact us by phone 8 (495) 980-22-00 and sign up for the English exam.
The training flights take place at specialized sites of the ATC. The main training ground is located in the Istra district. There are auxiliary sites in Moscow (in the Zhivopisnaya Bay area), Reutov, Dmitrov (Moscow region), as well as in Yalta (Republic of Crimea).
Yes, of course. Training at the Aviation Training Center "Heliport Istra" is available year-round. The implementation of the flight program depends only on weather (meteorological) conditions.

A private helicopter pilot has the right to perform non-commercial flights and flights on the territory of the Russian Federation on his own or leased aircraft.
All students who have successfully completed the training program and passed the final examination are issued a document on education of the established template (diploma of professional retraining) and a set of supporting documents.
The cost of training is formed from the amounts spent on theoretical and flight training.
The prices for training at the pilot school of the Aviation Training Center "Heliport Istra" can be found in the "TRAINING PROGRAMS" section.
It all depends on your capabilities, abilities and availability of time - you can complete the minimum required 43 flight hours in a few months, or you can do it in a year. You yourself can calculate the required number of days based on the optimal flight time at the beginning of practice: 1-1.5 hours a day and no more than 3 hours a day after gaining initial experience and adaptation of the body to flight.
